Classical Music

What is "Classical music"?

We know as "Classical music" the music wrote during the 18th Century. That means 300 years ago!!!.

People call "classical music" to all music from the past, but that it's a mistake.

This music was composed in a time full of wars and revolutions.

There were lots of painters and scultors during this time, like Francisco de Goya.

It was a time with no electricity and no facilities at home.

Wealthy people lived in really big houses, sometimes in palaces, with lots of servants.

There were doctors, but no hospitals yet.

They traveled in carriage, pushed by horses.

Public schools appeared in big cities.

People lived looking for freedom.
